This type of war does not really 'end.' It will simply taper off and fade away.

Just as it has been doing.

Much longer, we still have so many sh*t head nations left to deal with, no end in sight unless the bad guys see the light, and start putting a value on Human Life.. I'm talking the whole War on Terror here.

I hate to break some people's bubble, but this isn't a scam over here, and if a democrat is sworn in to office, it's not gonna end either. We are here, trying to stabilize one of the most un-stable countries in the world. I honestly do beleive, in my opinion, we are going to be here for awhile. It doesn't matter who is in office. I can see us here "in force" for another two years, give or take, and slowly draw down a little from there. We will have a prescence for a long time, just not in the same numbers you see right now. I'll probably get a bunch of thumbs down from people who hate Bush, or conspiracy theorists who say he is doing it for the oil. But, I'm trying to portray a real scenario for you here. Democrat, Republican, Independant, doesn't matter. We are already here, and no matter who is elected, we are gonna stay here for awhile.

There's no war to end. If we declare war, military operations will end much sooner than if we don't.
