Milk freezes well. To thaw a whole gallon, however, put it at room temperature for the first 3 hours or so, then bung it into the fridge to finish thawing.
Pudding (especially homemade from scratch) is an excellent way to use up lots of milk. Go to www.coooks.com for recipes for puddings from scratch. It's really good, so be sure to make a big batch. Of course, once you've had the real homemade stuff, you may never want boxed pudding again.
If you really have too much, the local homeless shelter is a great idea.

Add some vanilla, egg yolks, and sugar and then freeze it! I would look to donate it to a shelter. I know a lot of women and children's shelters need milk. You could also bake a lot of cookies and drink cold milk with warm cookies. Make a huge batch of hot chocolate and invite all your neighbors. Take a bath with it. Sure, its cold, but its great for the skin. Make milk soap. Freeze it in the jug. Lots of options, but for goodness sake, don't toss it!

Wow milk here is 5-8 dollars a gallon. I agree with what everyone is saying, especially if you can't bake or give away, then freeze it. Also, you can make chocolate milk, chocolate milk in my household goes very fast.

probable no longer for usual human beings, some strange man or woman could be waiting to do it however. i could attempt, as a shark can devour a super sort of issues without throwing up, yet i'm no longer keen on milk and don't experience like determining to purchase a gallon of it.

I agree with the rest of those who answered. You should either give it to your family who will drink it or friends. Or you can return it. I'm sure what ever store you bought it from will take it back as long as it's not open. So you can get some of your money back. Or just make a cake or bread pudding that's one of my favorites. or you could make cheese.. good luck..

You can freeze milk and it won't go bad, or just give it to your neighbors who have kids, or not. Be kind, it's almost new year. Just give it away. It's in a sealed container.
