Is the soul an immaterial substance?

We all know that material substances exist within space-time. If the soul is an immaterial substance where does it exist?

A true aura camera does not exist yet - ones available now do not photograph the aura that a psychic can see. See a book by Karen Mutton, which may be just published now? Such a device will allow early detection of medical problems long before they show up biologically/physically.
Also you can see plainly if someone was lying to you.

I prefer the term 'spirit' instead of soul. Most people would assume that the spirit animates the physical body, and there leaves upon death of the body.
Humans are not aware of everything in this world - physically. That animals have a higher degree of reception and awareness in comparison? They can hear more, and see more? too...?

To see a soul, look in a full length mirror. You cant do that when your placed in a coffin, and laid out like Adam was before the spirit from God made him a living soul, Eccl.3:19-21; 12:7; We are promised a Savior in Christ Jesus.

the soul exists in the form of an unknown power within the body that we can't do anything with really as far as technology goes but I won't go into that the reason it is immaterial is that it takes up the same space as solid matter and it doesn't die it doesn't burn out it doesn't go away it just inhabits a new shell the soul is immaterial because the soul is eternal.

Ok I changed my answer because I don't want to fall into the same tempting trap of being sarcastic like everyone else. Gravity is not a material substance yet it exists here and now. BGrimey, explain to us how this question is supposed to show us the "flaw in our logic." Thank you.

It's material. Everything that "is" has material form, just not necessarily at a layer of matter we can view yet. Remember not too many centuries ago no one could phantom the interaction of our chemicals either. They didn't have the instruments to view it yet. It's the same with the "soul", which is basically your subconscious.

We are far from knowing how everything works. This also means that there might be dimensions that we do not know of. Souls might be existing in those dimensions. But it does not mean that they are not connected to us just because they exist in different dimensions.

We existed in spirit form before we were born. Christ as God of the Old testament was a spirit God before he was born. Lucifer and is hordes of angels are still spirits. All unborn people are spirits. All people who have died and are waiting for the ressurrection of man are spirits. The ones who haven't been born were called angels in heaven. Michael the arch angel (Adam) and the angels fought against Lucifer (son of the morning) and prevailed. Lucifer and his hordes were cast out of heaven to live on this earth.

Your soul: is where your mind, will and emotions are guided. It is material as your desires, drives and thoughts dictate to you. It is a substance that can and is divided: (We are spirit, soul and body)....

Non-locally, like the mind. That is, after all, one of the meanings of the Greek word for "soul" (nous). it is also translated as "breath", etc.

Now, if by 'soul" you mean something other than consciousness or mind, there is no evidence of any such thing.
