Ft Huachuca is mainly a training base for MI. Once training is complete there a soldier would be assigned to a permanant duty assignment and would deploy from there. There are other units on Ft Huchuca that are not training units and may have portions of the unit deployed, but to my knowledge none of those are MI units. Ft Huachuca used to have a reserve MI unit and they may be deployed.

Fort Huachuca is the training base for those in Army Intelligence. How many of the graduates move to join some unit in either theater of operations is based solely on whether those ranks and MOS's are called for in the unit's Table of Allowance.

It's possible -- these days you can deploy from anywhere. It is a training post but there are also permanant party units on post which have individual soldiers as well as larger units deployed.
