All of the Tilapia you buy in the USA is farm raised. Lower in Omega-3 because it has a low fat content. They are raised in treated water, Mercury contamination is Very unlikely.
Not the most flavorfull fish but not bad either.

A couple of years ago we watched a special and it stated that Tilapia was a very high source of mercury. I guess if it is farm raised that would be better. With most fish you will get mercury. Best bet is to go fishing yourself if you can find clean water to fish in!

Salmon has the best content of Omega 3 Oils. Good stuff for the ol' brain, mood, and overall health.

from what i have heard tilapia is the better source of fish because it is farm raised and does not take fish out of the natural environment its like eating chicken or beef that's what they are raised for
