Just a little fun to lighten things up after my last question. I've always wondered.
As for me, well, I started out in R&S and I wanted to people to understand that my Muslim perspective was based on my CHOICE to become a Muslim. As for my avatar, well, it was the closest thing I could find to the way I actually look, atleast in public that is.

Duke of Tudor- I got confused when I saw you switch from a kippah to a Santa's cap. You ARE Jewish, right? So maybe it's a "Father Hannukah" cap? Maybe you should change your nickname to that!
I'll stick with my current avatar for now. I never wear tan and as you said, they don't have a matching niqab for it I bet! But that's good info for others, thanks.

I like British history. I choose 'Duke' since it is the highest rank in British nobility. 'Tudor' came from House of Tudor, the most intriguing British royal dynasty, from my point of view. I am considering to change my nickname with a new one. Any suggestions?
As for avatar, I will change it when I get bored. Since, I am taking Christmas and New Year leave, I pick a Christmas - related avatar. I guess I have worn a kippa for too long. LOL.
Actually, a tan color hijab is available in extra > accessories > scarves in Yahoo!Avatars. Check it out. You have to wait longer for a niqab to be available.
EDIT: You know a Santa hat has nothing to do with Christian faith. It's just a cultural product. Actually, many Non-Christians also celebrate Christmas but as a secular holiday, e.g., Japanese people who are mostly Non-Christians. If you visit Japan during in December, you will see many Christmas attributes everywhere.
I am thinking to change my nickname with something related with history and nobility :)

My sister started a blog last Spring. I wanted to be able to comment on her blog, so created a blog account, too.
The web address was too long and hard to remember, so I decided to spring for a domain name for it. I wanted something with a .com in it, so I could just type "ctrl-enter" and save keystrokes.
After about twenty minutes of frustration, I still couldn't find an available domain I liked. I called out to my husband, "this is about as easy as juggling frogs!"
I typed in http://www.JugglingFrogs.com and it was available!
I drew up a cartoon frog juggling five froglettes for the blog, and have used it as my avatar here, too.
That little juggling frog has become my personal logo!
I like how it has no obvious gender, age, or ethnicity, and can be interpreted as a frog who juggles, or one who juggles frogs. And (I hope) it looks happy and friendly and light-hearted.

Well, I thought the image was suiting.
"Bruno S." comes from a line in an Elliott Smith song called "Color Bars". He's a real person and had a horrible childhood and life, so Elliott uses him as the example of a "real man" when he sings, "Bruno S. is a man to me. You're just some dude with a stilted attitude."

The avatar pick because looks like me when I was like 18 and the id becase its my name and where I am located. There are probably 30-40 thousand Mike's In RI so I figure I am relatively safe. Especially considering I spend much of my time in MA.
Good Luck!!!

The nickname? The first part is because I am a fan of the novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter"...but of course my name isn't Dexter, its Scarlett, hence the screen name "Darkly Dreaming Scarlett".
My avatar is of the grim reaper, one of my favorite mythological figures.
