Claiming MORE on your W-4 results in less money WITHHELD for taxes. It makes ZERO difference on the taxes you actually owe the IRS. If you don't have enough withheld, you have to write a check when you file your return.

Depends on your income. It can be anything from zero up to over $1000 in withholding diffrerence over the year. For most people it would be around $500-600 difference, or about $10 a week.
