Over the past two months I became friends with this girl in physics class. She always makes an effort to talk to me and be nice, and even made me a cd for me a while back after she asked me if I liked a band. She also copied notes for me and asked me my number recently, so we could study together. When we got done studying and I was walking to my car she stopped and picked me up and we talked in her car. We went and got coffee at school the next day after she waited a few mins for me to finish our exam. She also dropped out of her lab project group to be in mine after I couldn't get in hers. She then asked me to goto church with her recently, and we've studied together outside of school. In passing one time she said didn't want a relationship when talking about this guy from church that called her...we've been hanging out for a few weeks now at her house or going out to other places.

She's very much into christianity which I can deal with since I'm an agnostic leaning towards christianity, but I dunno if she would be very tolerant of some of the stuff I like - she didn't seem to enjoy me watching family guy at her house, even though she said "no offense if you like it". But, we get along great and we like alot of the same music and act similiarly. Everytime I invite her out to do something, she brings her sister (whom I've met before) or a friend...which I take as meaning she isn't interested in just being with me yet. After all this time she still hasn't said anything about becoming more, at all. I don't want to confront her unless I know for sure she likes me (and likes me for who I am), since I don't want to get attached and take this farther than it should. Is it normal for a girl to go through all this to get to know some guy she barely talks to in class? I am ok with being friends with her, I just don't know where she's going with this.

I don't know if i'll be good enough for her. I'm a good person and would give someone the world, but I don't want her to make me feel like an infidel or something. I guess friends is the best way to go?

She is the person you need to be talking to. If your are fine being friends, then I'd agree that's what you are.
I don't like "confront". It's just a matter of conversation "So do think of us as friends, or do you see us becoming girlfriend/boyfriend down the road?" There's no need to rush anything and just enjoy your time together.
Nobody would spend this much time and effort on someone they didn't care for.

If she is a very Christian like me then I know why she brings a friend or her sister along. Trust me, this has nothing to do with her liking you or not, BUT the fact that she hangs out with you means she does likes you: As a friend or more, I can't tell, I don't know her, but you can read her body language, it never lies! And the fact that she was talking about this other guy and said she didn't want a relationship, she probably meant with that guy, nothing about your relationship, meaning she might be rejecting that guy so you wont leave ( maybe you should drop on some hints, see how she acts.....there are somethings you don't have to say out loud.)

jeez glad I am not in your shoes. So good for you for recognizing she must like you for you..the Christian not Christian relationship can really back fire if you do not compromise. She is probably waiting for you to pop the question, you know ask her out on an official date, No girls do not go out of there way like she is only to be friends, if so she would have told you she just likes you as a friend. You most definitely need to bring up the comment you heard about not wanting a relationship, you can ease into saying you wonder because you kind of wanted to see how a relationship between you two would go.
I really think it is best not to talk about religion yet, this can cause a fight between family members, get to know each other before you bring that stuff up.

She sounds like an awesome girl. Maybe she told you she doesn't want a serious relationship because she's not ready to be dating anyone. Maybe later on she'll be ready, you just have to be patient.
Some parents are strict and don't allow their daughters to go out alone with guys. Maybe that is the reason why she always brings someone with her. She might be interested in you, but she might not be ready for a relationship. Keep on talking to her and show he what a wonderful person you are. I'm sure that if she gets to know you better, she will change her mind or something. :p Just be patient. Good luck. :p

Try asking her. No one can say that a third party likes you or not unless they know them. No one knows her better than her, so ask her.
Maybe she is interested in you, but is more old fashioned than most of us are used to. That would explain the chaperon when you go out together. Then again, she may just want to stay friends.
Everyone in your generation has gotten used to the quick fix to life's problems, but relationships are not like that. if there is a relationship that goes beyond friendship, then it takes time and work.
Most of all, it takes communication. So talk to her about it. Make it clear what your stand is on your relationship and all, but ask her to let you know what is going on from her side.
You said that you are friends, so friends talk about things together. Even how they feel about each other and people in their lives so just talk to her about it all.

Just continue to be her friend and see where it goes. Take one step at a time and then you wont be jumping into anything. It sounds to me like maybe she is not really sure what she is looking for right now. Maybe your the guy to help her find it. I do not see any reason to change anything or to sit down to have a talk about things at this point. If you want to go places with her and enjoy her company then just leave things as they are and see where they go.

The best thing you can do for this relationship is be yourself and be a friend, assume nothing. If she desire more she will let you know when she thinks the time is right. -But on the same note, if you wish to take it to the next step, then you should let it be known. -What will this shared knowledge do to the relationship if she doesn't feel the same. ????? That's up to how you guys cope with such issues and how mature the both of you are.
If it was me, I'll play it by ear, unless my feelings are overwhelming.

I think I know how she feels. It's obious that this girl likes you but I think shes not really ready for the commitment of having a bf yet. I would just keep the relationship where it is and see what happens. If there is no spark, dont worry. Atleast you've gotten a great friend our of all of this. And who knows, her opinions might change later on. But for now, just keep it where it is. =-) Good luck!

i think it's normal, she's waiting for you to make the first thing. if i were you i would come out and be honest about how you feel. you should really be clear with yourself about what kind of relationship you want with her and then tell her that. having her friends over gives her a sense of security while she continues to get to know you better. i think the next move is yours for you guys to begin a more intimate relationship...otherwise there's nothing wrong with being friends. good luck!

It seems that she likes you, dude, but she's taking her time while the relationship between the two of you grows in a naturally easy way. Keep doing what you're doing and take it slow. Seems to me that she's a rather nice lady.
