She is only nine.She does not quite understand the meaning of healthy choices. Try doing things with her. When she gets home from school sit down with her and help her with her homework, then go for a nice 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. For get the 100 calorie snacks all together no matter how many calories things have if they have to much sugar or carb's its still bad for you even trix yogurt is not healthy for a kid if you want to get her yogurt get her the lite and fit or the plait. Don't keep junk food in the house at all. If you want to desperately help her loose the weight you and your husband or boyfriend need to support her. No matter if you don't need to diet just eat what she eats for breakfast and dinner show her your their for her. As far as the baby sitter goes just tell her or him you do not want the junk food in your house or around your daughter for a couple of months if they disagree then find a babysitter that believes in proper nutrition. Have the baby sitter do activities with your daughter while you are away.Also you could put her in another type of sport possible softball gymnastics or dance all of these things are fun to do and she can make A lot of friends doing them also

I don't know how tall she is but maybe you guys should visit this website together. Just enter her height,weight and age and it will tell you of she is overweight, underweight or at a healthy weight. Good luck :)
