Either you just turned 18 or are totally immature.

Rifles are not "totally cool". Rifles are weapons that must be used for the purpose intended. One does not go around sporting your "cool rifle" on the back window of your pickup truck. That's illegal in most states.

You can't get a Cadillac that is priced like a VW. Grow up dude.

Respect your weapon (rifle) and be responsible when handling it. Keep it clean, oiled and learn to use it properly.

But first, GROW UP.

I suggest the 200 shot Range Model Red Ryder Air Rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time....

But frankly, I think you would shoot your eye out kid.

up to date? hell the cool guns are those that arent "up to date" go with a reliable black powder muzzleloader i have a lyman great plains rifle .50 cal., best gun i've ever owned, its acurate (i dont use a scope), and its pretty powerful depending of course how much powder you put in it (about 100 gr of FFG). i only paid $350 for it 4 years ago.

When you get to the point where "cool" and "up to date" don't matter, and a Martini or Farquharson looks good to you, you'll be ready for a rifle. For now, whether it's true or not, it at least sounds like you aren't old enough for one. My apologies if I'm wrong.
