there are many exercise programs designed just for moms
but on your own, i recommend walking
everyday just talk a nice stroll for 30 minutes
itll get you in shape fast, and ull feel invigorated
as for healthy food, eat more fruits and vegetables and whole grains
instead of eating that bag of chips, eat some nuts, trail mix, granola bars, or yogurt

My daughter was born three and a half months ago. I'm now only five pounds heavier than what I was when I found out I was pregnant, about six weeks in. I've not exercised, unfortunately. However, I've eaten nothing but whole real foods. Anything processed (such as my organic soy milk and tofu or my veggie "meats") still contain whole, real ingredients. I avoid anything that contains corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oil or fully hydrogenated oil, artificial and natural flavorings (if it doesn't specify the source, I don't eat it), and anything that looks as though it was created in a lab by man and not in nature by God. (A good indicator is unpronounceable, multiple syllable words.)

My sister-in-law is eating somewhat healthier and is also a vegetarian. However, she still eats a lot of processed, high fat foods as well. She's not losing the weight as quickly as what she would like and she's going to Curves a few times a week. She can't figure out why she's not losing the weight as quickly as she would like. There may or may not be a correlation with the speed of our weight loss, but I think our individual results are interesting.
