As long as we all keep drinking SoBe NoFear, that's what Boris Said said!

Here's my analysis. I think that Boris won't win, because he doesn't have a top ride. The problem is that teams focus all of their good equipment on their best team, and Boris is barely a satellite team of Roush Fenway Racing. The problem is that he can run up front, but he can never win. He needs to find a team that'll put money into him to run those road course races, and then he MAY run with Juan, Jaques, Sam, and the other ex-open wheelers. Remember what happened to Patrick Carpentier at the Glen this last year? What happened there was that Ray Evernham put his equipment into the team that had the best shot of winning, which was (at the Glen), Carpentier. If Boris can find a team where he's running in the team's actual cars, and not the satellites, and a top team at that, he'll win. But don't look for it to happen when he has to compete regularly with McMurray, Kenseth, and Edwards for the top car on the road course, and remember that those guys have 2 ballots and he only has 1.

Boris is always a threat to win a road course. He puts on a clinic for many of the other drivers. What I've observed over the years is that he seems to get impatient and overdrive the car. Many times he ends up spinning out because he's driving too hard. You can blame the equipment, and that's partially right.....but a driver has to know the limits of the equipment he or she is driving.

I'd love to see him win any race, as I think it'd be great for the sport. He's getting up there in years though, so he'd better figure out how to do it soon.

You know there are a lot of factors involved to put it all together and actually win a race. I think Boris can be competitive but putting together a win is something else. Even Dale Jr couldn't put it together this past season so "Will Said win?" Probably not. But I don't expect any of the new F1 transplants to be able to pull it off either. Montoya is in a class by himself. Franchitti, Hornish, etc are not the caliber of racer that JPM is. Either way, ought to be interesting.

In equal equipment I would think he would have a shot. Boris has more seat time at those tracks than the other 4 guys combined, which should help! I can't remember who he gets help from as far as chassis and engine? Hendricks or RCR? I'd think he has better stuff than any of the other 4 openwheel stars. I'd expect Said to beat everyone by a lot except Montoya who should be near the front as well. Don't forget Said crew will cost him 2 sec everytime they have to pit, this isn't going to help him any!

Problem is we have no clue how good his stuff his and we also know that Ganassi (Montoya and Franchitti) is the best openwheel converts with better equipment than Villeneuve. Hornish is the least experienced with the best equipment, he has shown no ability to race stock cars yet!

Can Boris beat (place better) the open wheelers in a stock car, for sure. Can Boris Said win a NASCAR Cup race, highly unlikely.

I definitely think Boris can win at the road courses. He has proven that he can qualify a cup car at a superspeedway but finishing is another story. I like Boris, I think the enthusiasm he brings to a race is great for Nascar.

I would love to see Boris win a race. He seems like a very nice guy. I also wish someone would give him a full time ride. I don't know why they didn't give him a job instead of Hornish and the others.

Yes I think he can beat the nascar(f1) drivers
he is still gonna have trouble with Gordon, Stewart, the Busch Boys, Dale Jr,Johnson-I don`t look for him to win a race but he can outrun the f1 throwbacks

he'll do better than Hornish Jr, Franchitti, Carpentier,Villeneuve, but with Montoya I doubt it, he needs better equipment to run with the big teams like HMS, RCR, Roush-Fenway, Penske & Ganassi.. I wish someone would give Boris a super ride, he is a great guy, come on some team please, make us Said heads happy, I maybe a Dale Jr fan but Boris is so cool..

placed him in even a a million/2 first rate motor vehicle, and he has a gamble to win. Why do you think of he (Scott Pruett, and Ron Fellows) are in lots of situations the 1st possibilities between many communities that use a street path ringer? And having raced inventory vehicles somewhat extra in many situations now will defently help him out in understanding whats ideal or incorrect with a motor vehicle.
