I'm a fan of Martin Truex. I chose him because he was a darkhorse, and he won at Dover. I am also a fan of Menard, I think he'll win.

The #1 and #8 are going to be too busy competing against the big guys to let Menard weasel his way up to the front. Unfortunately I don't think Menard currently has what it takes. Even Ryan Newman gets spooked when he's running out in front. Menard has a lot of improving to do to win a race.

DEI has improved in small steps, even w/ losing JR. Truex had a strong season, especially @ the end. I don't if Menard it good enough to win yet, but I think he'll run better. Should be a top-25 car this season.

I'm a fan of Truex also but let's face it Menard's just there because his family sponsors the car. He was given a top-35 spot after the DEI-Ginn merger screwed over Joe Nemecheck and almost blew that. Face it, if he blows it again this year, DEI's looking for a new driver for the 15.

No way possible, DEI is in bad shape and Menard ain't no superstar! Sometimes a bad driver can win with a good car, and sometimes a good driver can win with a bad car, but it don't happen too often. Truex will win some races, but I fail to see him making the chase. I would still rather see Menard, Truex, or Dick Trickle win as long as it ain't Jeff Gordon.

All of DEI combined will win about the same number of races they have each of the last two years (1 in 2006 and 1 in 2007).

Menard is just not good enough to compete for a win in the Cup Series. He isn't even good enough to stay out of his own way. There is no chance that he wins a race this year.

I like Truex alot, I think he will be very successfull in Nascar but I just dont think Paul Menard has what it takes to win in Cup, Nationwide series is another story.
