NO citrus (lemon, lime, oranges, etc.) for MALE rats - the bit about orange juice will explain why.

Anything that's good for you, is good for your rat. They SHOULD get fruit and veggies -- variety is the key to good nutrition!

Frozen peas are a HUGE favorite with rats -- no need to cook or thaw them, just serve them straight from the freezer. Rats also love chick peas, spring mix lettuces, lima beans, bananas, watermelon and many, many other things.

Luvrats is correct...anything that's good for you, is good for them. My rats go crazy for tomatoes!
