I don't show that NJ and FL have reciprocity with regards to carrying a handgun.

Huh??? What are you talking about? Do you mean will your Florida CCW be accepted in NJ if your caught carrying a conceaed firearm in NJ? Probably not, as first of all...it's nearly impossible to get a carry permit in NJ (unlike florida and other must-issue states) Now it is possible that NJ signed a reciprocal deal with FL that would make your CCW valid...but I highly doubt that happened...keep in mind...in NJ you need a special permit issued by the Chief of Police in the town of your residence for EACH pistol you buy...(so if your police chief happens to have a strange anti-gun stance...he stalls for nearly 3 months before approving it...and then only because he has to if the back ground comes back clean...) I speak from experience...but it is 10 years since I left the garden state and it's laws...so I could be out of date...but just the same...I wouldn't carry if your not sure your in the clear first!!!

New Jersey can certainly suspend your right to carry a weapon in New Jersey. I don't know if any other state will recognize the suspension.

It would really depend on why they wanted to suspend it.

if it's a FLORIDA permit, you can't use it anywhere else. if you misuse the privilege, it can be taken away anywhere.
