The propogation of writing, formalised schooling even scientific study was carried by religious institutions until the advent of public schooling.

In many respects religion has contributed to the advancement of science and the exchange of ideas.

So without religion the technology of today may be very different.

The light bulb in your desk lamp was invented by a christian. The numerical system you use and the silverware you eat with were invented by Muslims. The polio vaccine was developed by a devout Jew. Perhaps you would care to abstain from using anything invented by anyone with religious convictions. That wouldn't leave much.

By the way,are atheists only aware of the existence of one religion? Hindus have made an enormous contribution to advanced mathematics. I keep seeing all these references to "the bible".

technological expertise considers all observations. technological expertise is likewise consistently attempting to advance the theories to greater suitable tournament the observations. "actuality: All living organisms share in addition designed DNA, the “laptop language,” or code, that governs lots of the form and overall performance of their cellular or cells." Scientists have spoke of this. There are a limiteless style of theories that ought to greater healthful like that, "a magic unicorn is the fashion designer, a leprechaun, God, and so on". It does no longer enable us to make any predictions. certainly, that's a foul theory precisely with the aid of fact it can not be falsified.

I'm a Wiccan, and generally speaking we embrace technology as a positive force when it benefits us and acknowledge it as a negative force when it leads to harm. There is nothing in Wiccan theology that contradicts the process and findings of science (including evolutionary theory), at least as far as I've ever been able to tell.

I currently realize Satan gives tests to Christians in America to 'check their belief in God. One test, asserts that the old testament is Genesis-Malachi, even though that does not currently match God's word; according to God's word it is the law of Moses. Should I go by the real word of God or the limited science (ha ha; a token of God's 'order') in your opinion?

Most religionists are not above being hypocritical and contradictory now, are they? Besides, they attribute scientific advancements and inventions as ultimately coming from their god. So now we have "illusory" to add to the delusional mix.

Read "servant FM" and you will see what I mean.
