When I can't work out motivation, or there's nothing I can do. When morality measures more on the blind eye side. Or when I lost my marble.

I turn a blind eye to people's quirks that annoy me so that I can see what's good about a person and overlook their (to me) shortcomings.

Fat guys in suits and ties. they look so uncomfortable. And the suit looks uncomfortable, like it's straining. And the tie looks most uncomfortable - like it's being pushed to its limits by the bulging mass where the neck should be. It just makes me uncomfortable. I have to look away.

When my son's very old cat eats the remains of my granddaughters lunch. He only gets that dried food and isn't allowed anything else. He gets water instead of milk because they don't think it's good for him. He hasn't got that long left; I think let him enjoy himself.

Anything that I would not want to be associated with, being so drunk that they throw up, being so high that you see things and want others to see them also. Seeing someone so wasted that they don't know what they are doing or saying.

Most of the time, when it comes to etiquette I look away unless it is someone I am close to and don't want them to embarrass themselves.

I look the other way when someone embarrasses him/herself; it doesn't help the situation for me or anything else to stand and stare.
