so imagine an airport. theres a runway. grass, and everything. but wuts that thing called where you put the planes. and where the planes come out of?

First of all, it's spelled with an "A".... hang A r. There are several types of hangars. A "T" Hangar, for instance, is shaped....yep, you guessed it, like a "T", and the most inexpensive, as they are placed 180 degrees next to each other , every other one, for maximum placement. The more expensive hangars are rectangular, and are built for a tremendous amount of sizes. (and oh, I really didn't have to "imagine" to hard on this one).

This is called a hangar. Note the spelling. Don't confuse it with hanger which is something you put clothes on.

Hangar (and yes, this is the correct spelling). A hanger is something you put a shirt on or a small hook you put into/on a wall.

They are stored in a hangar (typically if you have the room for it? If not then they are stored outside on the tarmack and the wings and possibly nose are tied down
