Have a check up with a doctor first since it isn't normal to be tired all the time unless you never get any sleep. Exercise actually raises your levels of energy, so sitting around may be what is making you feel sluggish. Anyone without medical problems should be able to manage a short walk everyday, and you can increase the intensity and duration as you develop more energy.

Same problem here until I had my yearly check up and told them about the weight gain and tiredness- they ran a thyroid etc tests and my thyroid was not doing its job! They had to put me on meds to increase the levels! Go to the doc and get checked! Tell them you want an overall blood check including the thyroid! Good luck! Happy New Year!

Have you lost a lot of weight? Weight loss without trying is one of the red flags for cancer. I would go see my doctor and let him figure it out.
