It varies. For a hospital staff nurse (RN), as a new graduate working full time (32-40 hours per week) you will probably make around $22-$28 per hour, so that range works out to be $700 to $1100 per week, not including shift differentials if you work night shift, etc.

It concerns me that someone would start taking classes in nursing, and not have an idea of the income in the area they live. But more concerning, is a person who would spend the time and effort to become a nurse, and pass the boards, and then start studying to sell real estate. Why not learn real estate now, and leave a slot in nursing school to someone who doesn't intend to leave the occupation in 5 years?

In India the nurse would earn 2500-3000 in a week.
