Very much so. The same social structure which authority is passed down with minimal questioning is similar to that of Muslim fundamentalism.
They seek the same things, to twist the laws of society into their views, to subjugate any science that doesn't fit in their own little world, and show intolerance toward nonbelievers.

Look at the difference, then decide for yourself.
When abortion clinic bombings have taken place, there is a wide-spread denunciation of the act by fundamentalist Christian leaders. When 9/11/01 happened, Muslim fundamentalists danced for joy in the streets.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms reports that a total of 167 attacks on abortion clinics occurred in the fifteen year span between 1982 and 1997. I believe there were far more than 167 attacks carried out by Islamic terrorists in the past fifteen DAYS.
Fundamentalist Christians use as their weapons the Bible, prayer, and boycotts. Fundamentalist Muslims use as their weapons bombs strapped to people. If you do not believe in God, you have no need to fear a Bible or prayer. The bombs of the fundamentalist Muslim, however, will kill you, regardless of what you believe.

I think 1 killed a doctor or tried to blow up an abortion clinic. I don't believe any nurses were ever killed.
The answer is no, Christian fundamentalists are not as dangerous as Muslim fundamentalists.
If you look at all the wars and political conflicts, including the most recent assassination in Pakistan, most of them are being perpetrated by Islamic extremists.

No, because in the good old US of A, our government isn't run by Christian Fundamentalist who condone these actions, whereas in places like Iran, the fundamentalist Muslims actually control the government. Here, if you blow up the abortion clinic in God's name, you get sent to jail. In Iran, you blow up something up in Allah's name, you are honored and revered. Sad, isn't it?

While that has happened here, yes, I don't think Christian Fundamentalists in the US are as dangerous as Muslim fundamentalists around the world -- but only because not all Christian fundies are violent. I suspect if they had violent leaders they could easily cross the line though.

Yes, some blow up clinics and kill doctors that perform abortions. But on a whole, it doesn't happen as often as with Muslim extremists. But I'm sure that if Fred Phelps told his cult to kill they would. The Manson groupies thought Charlie was Jesus after all.

Bit disproportionate don't you think? There have been a few incidents of alleged Christians committing murder in the name of their religion, but no where near the proportion of Muslims who do so in the name of Allah.

I would say that Xian Fundamentalists are not nearly as dangerous as Islamic. But there are always the extreme fringe groups that are so "fringe" that they are not part of the mainstream religion.

Not that I've heard of...
Mostly Christians are out running operations that HELP people, like Operation Christmas Child.
Nowhere in the Christian religion does it say to kill off the nonbelievers.
The Quaran does.
(Actually, the Bible says to love your enemies...)

Both have their moments. You can't put two murderers together and say one is better or worse than the other. Besides, most fundamentalists of either of the two religions aren't criminals.
