You don't say how old you are... We all have to go through cycles when things are good, or go badly... It's especially important how you go about handling these cycles, the good and the bad, that makes the difference how things turn out, and whether you can find meaning and growth even when things look dark. It requires time and distance to reach a point where you can look back over it all, and see how far you've come, and see how things all fit together to complete the picture... when things are looking really bad, well, the good news is that you will live through it, and the bad news is that you will live through it. I know you're going through a bad patch right now, and it seems like there couldn't possibly be an end to it, but there will be one day. It's up to you to help make it so though, so do whatever you can to help with your own healing...I see that you write poetry, that's a good way to work things out of your system, mull things over, frame your thoughts...good luck to you....
(Christina is right about counting your blessings, it can do alot to improve one's outlook to feel gratitude for the little things, also positive visualizations as LVOR said....)

Life is not going to always work out right, but sometimes you just pick yourself up and get back in it. You can learn from the bad times, and you'll be a little more appreciative of the good times. I also believe in positive thinking and visualization. Think about some good things and picture them happening to you (not known to be effective on lotteries, keep it real!)
Always try to keep your sense of humor, don't sweat the small stuff, and when in doubt...follow the directions (or you can try staring at and thinking about it until it makes sense). Now go find something funny. Sounds like you could use a few laughs!

I know what you mean man...it really doesn't end though...sometimes you have to sit back and look at your life to see if there are any patterns that you could play off of. I didn't know I was in this invisible cycle where everything would be great one time, and then turn into *h*t the next. I know you probably don't want to hear this but sometimes you really have to fake being positive and optimistic to get your mind thinking that way, and when you are in fact positive and optimistic, just maintain that feeling and that outlook on life and see if that doesn't improve life for you.

i understand where you are at in your life. at some time or other we are all there. do i believe that things work out for the best in this world????? YES i do. i know it for a fact. i do not know how old you are but i am 52 i have been in some very bad places in my life but sooner or later things have always worked out for me and my family. the best you can do is take things one day at a time and evey day before you go to bed count your blessings for that day. some days you may not see as many blessings as other days but some days you will be able to count many blesses even little, bittly tiny ones. like maybe.... the blessings of a roof over head, clothes on your back, food in your stomach, your family, medicines to help you over being sick, friends, etc. understand where i am coming from. i hope so. Good Luck to you!!!!!!!
