Well, in order for "partake in mass delustion" to be preferred, it would have to be either: (1) shorter and/or easier to say; (2) more precise.
It's less precise because there are lots of mass delusions, as is clear from the popularity of Fox News. It's also harder to say.
So, no. :)

I think in the future it will be more like: Did your ancestors believe in Mythology? or Do you know what form of Mythology your ancestors followed?
Mass delusion insinuates that most people still partake. I'd like to think that as a race we'll outgrow some of these things, like we have with many of the past Mythological Stories (note that theirs were just as detailed if not more so, and older then the Bible), but in observing humans and mythology it seems that instead of outgrowing these delusions, most just replace them with a NEW one that is more to their liking. It may very well be some other religion that takes center stage as the leading delusion or we may actually start moving away from these concepts and find more useful ways to spend our time.

Although I agree that eventually the Bible will wither into history for good as it should. Many beliefs in God are independent of the Bible. A belief in something bigger than yourself comes from the hope that there has to be more. This hope will never parish.

No, they won't.
You are generalizing. EVERYONE will never agree on anything.
Where is your PROOF that "it's growing more obvious, even to the uneducated," that "the absurdities" in the Bible are not true.
You merely speculate, with nothing to back you up.
You have no proof.

It may be obvious to you, but to me, the Bible remains the word of God, as told through people. Now, there are those who interpret the Bible literally, and that's their business. However, if you think that your perception is an indication of intellectual prowess, then I suggest that you are the deluded one.

Then please explain why do most atheists find God?
You do realize that the older an atheist gets the more likely he/she is to accept the existence of God right?
Don't believe me? Take a serious and unbiased servery some time and see the results.

Christianity has been through worse cases then this. It's a cycle. Christians grow. Then we fall. Then we grow back again. We'll get over this small thing I swear it.

and still our numbers increase...day by day, person by person...
but you are right in one sense. one day it will be meaningless to ask "do you believe in God?"
because we all will and it will be as natural as breathing.
