Peace.....a priest has to be very careful of anyone taking the Host (not cracker) away without consuming it and then blaspheming by Satanic Worship. That is why the priest went after the Host, however he could have insisted to the bride to get it out and consume it now! I have seen this happen before where someone will try to leave the parish without consuming the Host. This was one of the reasons for communion being given/received on the tongue and not in the hand!
