There would be less crime in our nation, and more respect from our people, and not so much sex on TV, and more people in church, more people working, and less taxes because of the more people working (More people paying taxes, and less people living off of them). Those would be pretty much the only changes. Kind of like it was in the 1950s.

Dude, religion is taught in school.
Where did you get your first Valentines day card at?
Where did you first draw a picture of a turkey?
How about the Christmas break? What was that all about? Is that not taught in schools, Oh I thought that it was against the law to teach religion in schools.
This is a form of religious worship, and those who do not observe this form of pagan religion worship had it crammed down their throats in SCHOOL.
This is how religion is taught in school and do you see the effects that is has on the American society? Greed, lust, wantonness.............

If Religion was taught in schools today, probably not too much would change. The only students that would take the course would probably already be religious. The parents of the other kids would not allow them to take the study, and if it was a required class, they would rise up in arms and probably win the case to keep their kids out of the class.
On the other hand, if religion was practiced in schools, like a morning prayer and Bible reading over the PA system, as was done years ago, nothing but good would come from it. The Bible would be reverenced and the students would realize that prayer and Bible reading are good practices.
As long as there are exams in schools, there will be prayer.

I personally think tolerance of other ppl's religions is a big problem and I think that comes for ignorance. People need to be taught about all religions. Then maybe we wouldn't have some many people hating each other over religion.
I don't think school should say "this religion is right" or "this religion is wrong" I think schools need to teach tolerance!

Please clarify if you mean teaching ABOUT religion in history, sociology etc. or if you mean teaching a stand alone comparative theology class, or if you mean determining which religion will be taught authoritatively and devotionally, and teaching it to children as if it is true.
If you mean teaching a religion authoritatively & devotionally as being true, which religion would it be ? Would students be REQUIRED to take the class or would it be an elective ? If any bullying occurred due to religious disagreements, how would that be handled ?
I can't adequately answer your question, because I need more specifics.

Which religion, there are thousands.
As far as teaching the bible, if people knew how to dothat, there would not be thousands of religions in the world, at 2007 after Christ, the bible has been in circulation in the world 396 years. It is 3560 years from Moses at Exodus when this book began. To highlight its history and ponder on how we have it and such a variety of translations in 396 years, would be worth every effort.

Given that there are over 3,600 different man made religions to choose from, that would be quiet the curriculum.
Religion needs to be removed from our schools, politics, government, and so forth.
If a person wants to practice their religion, then do so in your own church, mosque, cave, what ever.
Just don't shove your views down every body's throat.

extremely frankly that's not. that's a ethical gadget. To be eligible to be a faith calls for metaphysical solutions, no longer in elementary terms ethical ones. otherwise, how is it from now on a faith than a political view? additionally, the encyclopedias in China are heavily censored so of direction they do no longer permit you be attentive to that that's a Buddhist us of a with the aid of fact the Communists hate faith of all varieties. for this reason, my element is shown that in the event that they are in a place to evaluate it Confucian this is by means of the fact they do no longer evaluate it a faith.

Children would probably have more respect for other people and property. I think (personal opinion only) there would be less violence among the kids at school and fewer teens getting arrested for major crimes.
