you sure can, you can also make the pain go away with a little training. self-hypnosis is quite effective with psychosomatic pain.

As a person who has arthirits I know that I can make it worse by telling my self that I dont' feel good. I can also make it better by telling me that I feel good and that today is going to be a good day. Yes you can talk yourself into feeling pain and becoming sick. It's called a psychosomatic illness or pain one casued by a strong psychological need or action. It's sort of like a child getting stomack aches if they don't want to go to school. Your mind is very powerful and can casuse a lot of physical issues from pain to illnesses.

I think it is easy to worry about a pain that may be located in a part of our body that might make us think we have cancer or some other terminal illness.
The worry and anxiety about what we might have can be frightening.
I think a visit to your doctor could help relieve your worries.
If you keep going to the doctor all the time, perhaps he/she could prescribe medication to help your fears and anxiety.
I hope this helps.
