No. Nationalism, bigotry, and superiority (for whatever reason) can be contagious mental illnesses as well.

You seem to think of that "faith" ought to communicate with the Abrahamic faiths, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, no longer all faiths enroll in those scriptures, or maybe to any. As a Pagan i think that the Gods created the Universe and the organic rules by utilising which it runs, those rules comprise probability and luck. psychological ailments, like numerous different variety, or, for that remember organic failures, happens by probability no longer layout and coping with them is an element of the human subject. The Gods additionally gave us unfastened will, so we are in charge for voluntary movements in reaction to what all of us understand or have faith, meaning that psychological ailment is a ingredient interior the consequence of those movements. technological expertise is a gadget for awareness how the universe works, spirituality is a ability of exploring your dating with the Gods, the two can not in any way conflict because of the fact that they handle 2 separate themes.

Religion is no mental illness, just an imaginative fancy of sorts. Politics is the disease you are thinking of, my friend. Those damn slogans and policies and documents, combovers and handshakes, big wooden desks and black briefcases... that's the real world. The world of hardball, survival of the most voracious. Politics has led to uprisings and downfalls, revolutions and states of emergency. It is the bug that makes the world turn.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a mental illness but I know what you're saying. Religion exists only in the minds of the weak...if a weak mind is a mental illness, then you're right!

If your not religious then thats your desicion. Im not, but I still respect what other people choose to belive. If other people find comfort in beliving that there is more to live then what we live, them let them, at least they enjoy there religion and dont waste there lives resenting people who are morally happy

No one is forcing you to believe anything, but you might "catch" or experience some grace from someone that will oneday get you to thinking.
But in the end, if you don't want God in your life, God will respect your wishes.
