You're quite a remarkable young lady. I haven't heard of any but I will post one when I find it. I to was saddened by such a tragic death of one of God's most beautiful creatures.

I wish the zoo had a good hold on it's animals so that things like this never happened. I don't blame the animal, I blame the zoo officials who didn't make sure the enclosure was secure. I wish you luck in finding one. The zoo officials caused this tragic happening. I am sorry for those who were hurt and the man who was killed.

Sorry to be a bit blunt, but the tiger's dead, what on earth would she do with the money? Are they going to put up a marker or something?
I'd suggest donating something for the ones that are alive and still in trouble, and send something either to your local zoo (most have a sponsorship program), or the WWF.

That she lived in a zoo is more tragic than how she died. the other two tigers with her were so institutionalized they didn't even leave the enclosure. Now that's sad.

That is so sweet of you!
I don't know of any fund -- I don't know if the zoo will set one up anytime soon out of sensitivity to the victims of the tiger, and also because of the perception it might create. But there is the World Wildlife Fund or the Audobon Society, and they do a lot of good work at perserving and caring for animals and their environments.

What about a fund for the family? How do you put a dangerous animal's death as more tragic than a human death?

The tiger was killed after it killed a teenager - a mother's son - and mauled two other zoo visitors. The tragedy is not that a tiger - which already had a record of attacking zoo visitors - was killed. The tragedy is a dead child, visiting the zoo, on Christmas Day.
Please check yourself.

This happened so recently that people have not had adequete time to react to this terrible tragedy. I have not heard of a relief fund as of yet but perhaps you or your church could start one. God bless you.
