the poodle is older and they just got a labador and would like to know why the poodle keeps snapping at him besides trying to show her domince

my sister she he does annonying her know he can put his paw on her and hold her down but is their a way to get this two dogs to be friends

that depends-how old is the poodle/how small? If this house has been hers - of coarse she would show dominance !! As she should ! Also she may be terrorized over this large pup jumping around !! This is NOT a good combo ! Give the new pup restrictions on where he is allowed, let her choose where he is acceptable. Expand the area, when & IF she starts to gt used to him. Maybe when he's worn out sleeping , let her sniff him out? Watch carefully !!

place the poodle in a cage and bring the lab up to the door. every time the poodle shows aggressiveness, make noise, such as "shh!" or "no!". Do this about once a day. once the poodle is comfortable w/ this, take the poodle out of the crate, but keep him on a leash and hold the lab in front of him. make the same noise when he misbehaves, and give a slight tug on his leash at the same time. after a while, the poodle will get theidea.

because the poodle wants to show who is the leader I hope the lab is rececive because then 2 dominant dogs? they would be a biiiiggg problem
