Hi Leith
The Resurrection, of which most Christians believe in,
is an Invention of the Catholic Church. I know this will
not sit well with many people on Yahoo Answers, but
that's the Reality of it all. If there's any Doom that's
coming to this Planet, it will be by our Own Human
Hands. Of the 3 Major Religions, only 1 Believes in
the Resurrection, i.e., Christianity. They had Plenty
of time on their hands, 2000+ years of Deception, to
work on their plan for control over Peoples Minds.
Muslims don't believe in the Resurrection, and neither
do the Hebrews of the Jewish Faith, they know
better. There's plenty of Proof of what I'm saying, but
this is not where I'll debate that with anyone. I'll let the
People wallow in their own False Hope.

You could be correct. But then the question begs to be asked, "Which came first: The chicken, or the egg?"
If God controls all things, then does He not even control the manner and timing in which prophecy is fulfilled?
Perhaps He is fulfilling it now, and Christians are just more tuned into recognizing than anti-xians.
Please don't start yet another "Conspiracy Theory."

I don't know if someone else can force a prophecy to be fulfilled, wouldn't it be the one who spoke the prophecy that would determine whether it came true?
Matthew 24:34-44 "But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only."

They are going to happen if they are true ... So trying to make things happen is a bit silly. But a lot of these prophecies are semi-lucid so its easy to get them wrong - eg Jewish Establishment rejected Jesus as they missed some messianic prophecies.

You don't necessarily need to switch to de-caf, but you need to get a dose of reality from somewhere.
Christians are not conspiring to bring about "doomsday," and we couldn't bring about the Lord's return ourselves, even if we tried.

Christians can not "force" anything to happen. All happens in God's time. It would be silly to do anything but follow God's will and wait for things to unfold as he sees fit.

I wouldn't worry about a Doomsday coming about by people simply believing in it any time soon.
And yes, please switch to de-caff. It would be better for your health.
