We have been dating since August. One night when we were both very tired, just about to go to sleep I said "I love You" He said " I know you do" and I we went to sleep. then when he came over he was drunk, but not being a jerk, being romantic but he kept saying he loved me while we were having sex. At least I thought he said it. I didn't clarify and the next day he didn't remember much. What is a way to get him to spit it out and say I love you?

no saying it during sex and being drunk doesn't count. I treated it like he never said it at all.

Just say to him "I like hearing you say what you said to me the other day - it makes me feel special... Keep saying it to me..." and let him stew a bit and try to remember what he said. If he is on the ball, he will now what you meant immediately. Otherwise, you can have some fun with him for a while getting him to pick out the right phrase...

Either he will say it or he won't. Saying it during sex doesn't count, thats the hormones talking, besides being a way to get the girl to have sex with you. All you can do is ask him if he loves you, maybe he will say or maybe not. You have not been dating long enough for him to know, he is just now getting to where he can remember you last name. Maybe he is just cautious and doesn't want to say something unless he really thinks its true. Sounds like you were a bit precipitous.

Dont you think you guys havent been dating long enough?! If you seriously think you love him already the just tell him. But I would make sure that he feels the same before you do.
You cant get him to spit it out! He has to tell you on his own. Just be patient!! It will happen eventually. I wont take what he said while he was drunk for the truth though.

Tell a man why first. Why you love him or tell him something different you love about him every day. They way he makes you laugh, his being down to earth his style, tell him about the things about him or that he does that puts a smile on your face that makes you really really like him as a person everyday so that he is used to it. So that when you finally do drop the bomb I luv u
he's ready for it and not afraid embarrased or confused. Chances are he will tell you some sweet things he loves about you and it will be free and easy for him. good luck!

How is it that you're able to do something as intimate as have him physically enter your body, but you can't have a mature conversation about your feelings? You don't manipulate someone into "spitting out" they love you. You tell them in a sober, straightforward, face-to-face moment how you feel about them and you look for an honest reply. It takes guts and maturity, but the way he handles it tells you a lot about the person you're dating. Good luck.

I usually just say, hey there can you tell that I am very attracted to you, because I am, so where do we go from here, and do not wait for an answer ans just say OK then pick me up tonight at 6 then we will go out, give them a kiss and say see you later

I'm sorry he was such a jerk, but sometimes guys are just stupid like that. If you really want to know how he feels about you, you need to sit him down and talk to him. It's just as simple as asking him how he feels about you. And telling him how you feel, but while you are focused on each other and looking straight at one another.
