I don't see how you can color your hair any color without buying hair color. However, there are many types of hair coloring; permanent, semi-permanent and temporary, the kind that washes out after several shampoos. You might want to try the last one, since you won't be stuck with it if you decide you don't like the color. Don't let anyone tell you to use shoe polish or other substances that aren't made for the hair. That could be disasterous. Temporary hair colors that are sold in stores are not that expensive, and they are generally very kind and gentle to the hair as they don't contain harsh chemicals like peroxide or ammonia.
