Nothing...
It's just the Earth's shadow being cast upon the surface of the Moon. It's not really amazing. I mean, nobody freaks out when their shadow falls on another object...

It usually "comes on" at the same time as Inuyasha, so I watch Inuyasha instead. I've seen way too many "moons" in My time, already!
