One doesn't *TRY* to believe in something. Either they believe or they do not. You do not.

Edison tried to find God in a lightbulb. He knew he had it but it took many years and many tries. Try again. Maybe you didn't do something. Perhaps you still had clothes on and therefor your faith was weak. Try it again and again and if you aren't frozen to death in the process maybe you will see why He probably feels you are wasting your time. He will probably come to you and agree with you that it is cold out but not that you should be out in it like this. He might think your nuts and tell you to get in out of the cold. Or He could tell you to just stay where you are and freeze to death and then He will meet you on the other side. Or He could already be with you and feels that you are wasting your time trying to prove to yourself something you already have which is His presence anyways. What more could you want.

For one thing he is just something pushed into the minds of believers. The real laugh about this is that believers try to tell anyone that if god did not answer them, then it is your fault. There is nowhere more persons blaming others and themselves because god does not answer prayers. I just want to say to believers, you just have to do all things yourself, there isn't any god to grant you any favors.

Try going to a Pentecostal Holiness church, or an Assembly of God church and see if you feel anything. Maybe God has given up on you, if you don't.

The answer should be quite obvious. One can spend only a limited amount of effort to attempt to believe in a fiction; for most people; reality will eventually seep through.

You didn't seek God with all your heart. Your mind and hard heart was on yourself therefore you couldn't find God.
