my partner is in turkey visiting his mum who lives there as she emigrated.now he wants me and my son to move there.any ideas?iv never been there b4 but he has a job and flat lined up.he says he wont go without us and hes the one for me.

I suggest you learn a little more about Turkey before you decide. Do your research, especially on the politics, economics, as well as the role of women and children in the society. Find out what your rights will be. Find out under what circumstances you can move about in the Middle East. Do a little more homework versus using Yahoo Answers. This is your life....

Well, I hear that Turkey is very beautiful.
Why not just go for a visit...remember nothing is permanent.
If you don't like it, you can always move back.

You should find out about the life over there, especially with regards to women and their status in the country. Find out about what amenities you are used to will not be available there. I would be very careful, because once you are there, it might be very difficult to return if you want to.
