I know you can call a creditor and ask them to re-age your account so any lates/ past dues won't show. But does anyone know which companies(creditors) will Re-Age, and which won't????? Does Capital One??

I think you have your terms confused. Re-aging is illegal. It's when a creditor lists old debt with a new last activity date so the old debt continues to show up on your credit report or it resets the Statute of Limitations (SOL).

I think what you are trying to ask is how to get a creditor to remove late payment notations. Typically you have to be at least 30 days late before creditors report you as late. Most creditors won't remove legitimate late payments from your credit file -- definitely not Capital One.

Sometimes is you call and ask very nicely, credit card companies will remove late fees but only one time.
