I understand that in Tennessee you can go whale hunting while driving your car and shoot at the whale from your car. Where do whales show up in Tennessee? Is there a hidden ocean somewhere, or some route whereby whales travel freely within the borders of Tennessee? Do you need a license to do this, or can anyone with a shotgun just come along and shoot at the whales?

I am asking about this because it is a LAW in Tennessee that you cannot shoot anything from a moving vehicle EXCEPT whales - so I want to know exactly where these whales are...

Whoever told you that should show you the law book. If you believed him - don't get into a poker game with him. Was this told in bar after at least 3 drinks of sour mash? The only reason not to call this a flat out lie is the passage of some very strange laws by politicians who seem to have more than 3 sips of sour mash when they wrote them, a Tennessee politician could have put this in a budget bill for highways and got it passed .

I don't know where you got your information from but, a quick internet search only turns up articles (too numerous to post) that reference whale hunting and opinions given by various departments in Tennessee.
I'm like you, how do you go whale hunting in Tennessee?

Well, whacha wanna do is head east on I-87 till u hit sr56, you follow that untill you see a junction to I-99, then you follow that for, oh, about 6,736 miles. The road (I-99) will eventually go strait into lake whalealot. And there you have your whales. Most of the whales in the lake are blue whales. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND USING A 10, 12, 16, or 20 Ga.!!! THEY ARE TOO BIG!! Use a .410 shotgun. They always kill those blues in one hit to the head! Happy whlae hunting!!

Regardless of her appearance your mom is not really a whale so you can't take her to Tennessee and get away with shooting her.
