I am not sure if condensed milk is bad for her, but cats are lactose intolerant. Try putting a few drops of water or something like tuna juice in her food or put water in the milk to dilute it. You can also try buying kitten milk from a pet store for the cat. We did that for our stray cat we took in and he loves water now. Good luck with the cat!

Condensed milk is too rich and too sweet! She may tolerate a little but it's not good for her health! If possible try some goat's milk, as most Cat's have some degree of lactose intolerance they are better with lactose free cat milk or goats milk, but may tolerate cows milk in small quantities or watered down (or like my 16 yr old watered down low fat yoghurt) Remember though milk is a food as well as a drink, don't give too much and still leave water available at all times! Cat's need to get most of their moisture from their food so I wouldn't feed her dry food, she could easily become dehydrated, and possibly develop Urinary Tract/Kidney problems, not nice for owner or Cat as I found out! so give her moist food of some kind, the higher quality you can afford, the better.
Good luck with her!

Milk is not all right for cats - most are lactose intolerant and will vomit after drinking milk. If she really is not drinking, this could be the sign of a serious medical condition and she should be taken to a veterinarian.
But it is also possible she drinks water when you do not see her. Try putting out a measured amount of water in the morning, and then remeasuring it at night to see if any is missing.

Hi there,
Lots of cats appear not to like water because we never seem to see them drinking it - but leave some out for her anyway. It's very important that she drinks. Milk is actually a food, rather than a drink, so whilst it may be ok for your particular cat to have milk, you should still offer her water. If she goes outside, she could be drinking from puddles and getting her moisture in that way.
Many cats are lactose intolerant, but some seem to deal with it. You could try milk that is formulated for cats (it is low in lactose), or goat's milk. Alternatively, milk that is watered down may be ok for her. The only way to tell is to give it to her and see what happens, really.

Please don;t feed her dry food
Nutrition since there are so many bad things out there is very important to your cat’s health
Contrary to what you may have heard; dry foods are not a great thing to feed a cat.
Please read the label on what you are feeding? What are the ingredients? Do you know what they mean? Is the first ingrdiant a muscle meat like chicken or meal or other things?
http://www.catinfo.org/#Learn_How_To_Read_a_Pet_Food_Ingredient_Label
Dry foods are the number 1 cause of diabetes in cats as well as being a huge contributing factor to kidney disease, obesity, crystals, u.t.i’s and a host of other problems. Food allergies are very common when feeding dry foods. Rashes, scabs behind the tail and on the chin are all symptoms
The problems associated with Dry food is that they are loaded with carbohydrates which many cats (carnivores) cannot process them. Also, Most of the moisture a cat needs is suppose to be in the food but in
Dry, 95% of it is zapped out of dry foods in the processing. Another thing, most use horrible ingredients and don't use a muscle meat as the primary ingredient and use vegetable based protein versus animal. Not good for an animal that has to eat meat to survive.
You want to pick a canned food w/o gravy (gravy=carbs) that uses a muscle meat as the first ingredient and doesn't have corn at least in the first 3 ingredients if at all. Fancy feast is a middle grade food with 9lives, friskies whiskas lower grade canned and wellness and merrick upper grade human quality foods. Also, dry food is not proven to be better for teeth. Does a hard pretzel clean your teeth or do pieces of it get stuck? http://www.felinefuture.com/nutrition/bpo_ch4a.php

hi, not really, lots of cats don't react well to milk and it can give them the squits, condensed milk is normal milk minus water and plus lotsa sugar so poss not vey good. lots of cats don't like water from the tap and drink from outside, also don't much like still water - dripping taps always quite good, or u can get water fountains especially for cats, u can buy special cat milk from the shops but quite expensive, if she's thirsty she will evntually drink the water. hope this helps

Small amounts of milk is ok but leave a bowl of fresh water anyway; she may drink it when you are not around. My cat likes to drink water but usually out of the garden bucket or something - why I do not know. The kitten drinks out of the toilet bowl! If you are looking after the cat, be aware it may need other treatment for fleas and worms as well.

If its a stray she will have survived without condensed milk.....up till now and probably quenched her thirst on good old mucky rainwater out of puddles and other odd things that collect it....
Dont give her dry biscuits without liquid and condensed milk is a food not a liquid..........
all the best

She won't drink water as long as she has a choice. Milk is not good for cats (other than that which they get from their mothers), it's like a form of lactose intolerance; it can give them diarrhea.

Yes it will get diarrhoea, best giving it cat milk that you can buy from the pet shop, it's specially made for their sensitive stomach.
