You don't ask references to sign your applications.
You ask your references if you can give out their name and phone number and if they will give you a good reference.
Then YOU fill in their names & info.

Make contact with the reference, be sure of what they will be saying about you and gain permission to use them as a reference. Once you have done this there is no need for signatures. A written letter of reference is even better! Use their name and contact info on the application, and include the letter of reference along with a resume for a complete package.

Your references do not have to sign your applications. With their permissions, you just put their name and phone number, and possibly the relationships (friends, co-workers, etc) on the applications.

If you want to attach the reference to your resume just make copies of the recommendation. Also make sure to give the names and phone numbers of the people so the hirer can speak to them as well

They don't need to sign your applications. Just get their permission ahead of time. If they agree, you can put their name down on all of your apps. Happy Hunting!
