Horrid. Today it was reported that an army unit committed mutiny and refused to carry out orders in Iraq. After an IED attack killed five more members of Charlie 1-26, members of 2nd Platoon gathered for a meeting and determined they could no longer function professionally. Several platoon members were afraid their anger could set loose a massacre.

Bush is a complete failure and so is his party. Horrid.

I think that the world left Saddam in power for the reasons that we are seeing in Iraq. A dictator he may have been but Iraq was able to keep Iran in check. I believe the was was mismanaged with no respect for the Iraqi people. I think that there should have been more experts on the middle east and islam that were brought in and their opinions should have been taken in with great seriousness. I feel that we cannot just pull out now without doing a further disservice to the people of Iraq. We cannot leave until we see some stability because as soon as we leave the extremist will come in and take over Iraq. It will be exactly like Vietnam... leave thinking we controlled the situation then the other side will come and take over. If we leave right now we will create more enemies in the middle east. So I think right now we are stuck between a rock in a hard place. We want our solidiers out but we want a stable strong Iraq that we don't have to keep our eye on all the time. But with all that said. I support the troops... I support what they stand for and I pray for their safety.

I think that it's a war we can't necessarily win, but I think we still need to have some troops in there to keep the terrorism to a minimum in the U.S. If we pull out of Iraq it will free up the terrorrists to come fight their fight here and in Israel. They are not going to stop fighting us just because we leave Iraq. We may want peace, but they don't.

There is no "WAR" in Iraq! A war is fought by the military, with no holds bared, and fought to win at ANY cost---Irag is a police action. A police action is fought by the politicians. They don't plan on winning!! If this was a war--it would be over VERY quickly!! USMC 60-68

I think we should declare war and get it over with. That's the only way we're leaving anytime soon.

I support it I'll tell you that.
And to all those stubborn, immature people out there who won't take the time to actually support the troops that risk their lives for another countries safety, grow up.
I don't care if everyone thinks that we are over there for oil, the Iraqis needed help.
