I have been a police officer 37 and still on the job. It was funny to an extent but the truth is he did not need to be tazed even though he was acting like an idiot. In America you are free to act a fool just watch Deion Sanders and Bryant Gumbel annouce a football game. What you had was campus cops he probably put a pair of bracelets (handcuffs) on anyone and were a little confused as what to do. It is very difficult to place handcuffs on a 110 pound woman who is drunk and struggling with you. A black campus cop tazed him which is politically correct. Had it been a young Brack Obama looking dude brother Al Sharpton would have been on the next Redeye out of Atlanta to comfort his soul brother. The tazed idiot white and everything alright.

I just find the saying funny. Being a police officer, if there were enough officers just pack his stupid butt outside and cuff him. Tazing him just gavean idiot instant press. Now if he started resisting and then tried to hurt an officer then yea taze his butt, but if all he was doing was expressing his freedom of speech then walk him out.
Whoa, bolillo_loco get off the soap box, dude i spoke about freedom of speech and it didn't take me 10000 words.

Since when is it illegal to speak one’s mind peacefully? To all you lemmings out there that think it was just and deserved, I hope that I’m there when they rain on your parade. If you think that you’re toeing the line, therefore you won’t be molested by the powers that be, take a look at what happened to Indians, blacks, and other minority groups. I’m quite sure that there were plenty of blacks and Indians back in the day that did more than their share of toeing the line, yet they were ill treated, and when questioned, the police brought forth a lot of circumstantial evidence to support their brutality. It’s odd how more and more Americans are thrown into the minority pot. By minority, I’m not speaking of race, sex, or religion. Something is deemed bad by a few right powerful people, then they all get together and market a campaign that makes this activity illegal. We the people are bombarded by the media, until the herd believes it’s bad as well. Our families are being undermined by the very schools that we pay taxes for. Our children are indoctrinated, and told not to think for themselves. The government controls what’s being taught. Don’t question authority, follow it blindly. That’s myopic if you ask me! I think that all sheep should be neutered, and Bob Barker should stop molesting the cats and dogs of America and begin with people that can’t think for themselves!
Everyday in America, people are being locked up and brutalized to some degree by police armed only with “probable cause,” and circumstantial evidence. Why does this bother me? The main reason is this, if police are wasting their time on power trips aimed at verbally belligerent people, they’re wasting valuable resources that could be aimed towards real crime; moreover, power tends to corrupt. I cringe at things I see police doing. It’s only a matter of time, it gets markedly worse decade after decade. If I am in my own neighborhood, the police are very friendly, they’ll even give you a ride home if you’re in trouble. I go a few miles down the road into a poor neighborhood, the police aren’t so friendly. The way the officers talk down and get upset because I won’t cooperate used to be laughable, now it’s scary. I am under no obligation to comply with every whim of a police officer. If I was doing nothing wrong, I ask questions wanting to know what I did. I will not answer any questions other than identifying myself, proof of insurance, and other important DOT documents. If I go into the ghetto, the cops are down right nasty. I’ve been pulled over just because I’m white and in a black neighborhood. The treatment I receive is appalling! Just because I’ve exercised my rights as an American, the cops get very upset. If I did nothing wrong, I’m not answering the cop’s questions. It’s been my experience that bad cops are fishing and just looking for anything to pin on you, even if your only crime was walking down the street humming your favorite tune. It seems as though it’s nothing more than a game to them of win or lose, bad guy against good guy, the problem that they don’t realize is that they’re the bad guy too! This justice for some has to be put to an end.
I did not find "Don't taze me bro" humorous. I found it scary! Police powers are out of control and need to be checked.

Only the part where they taze him. Whats nice for him is that when I was that age, they didn't have a tazer and would have split his head with sticks or shot his stupid butt. Now that really would have been funny, to me.

Well, that kid kinda-sorta deserved to be punished.
But the words, I don't find funny.
If it was like a banana tazing a pickle, I would find that slightly humorous.

Of course. And the fact it happened to such an idiot is even better. Not to mention Kerry saying he didn't hear it!!! He needs a hearing aid apparently.

It is ironically funny. Funny in the words the kid chose to use, scary in how people enjoy the suppressions of our liberties.
