People all the time ask questions of or about Christians, many are trying to illustrate how obserd Christianity is, or how wrong we are and what we are "missing out on". Does this make you feel attacked, angry, sad, greived for the asker... do you see an oppertunity to avenge the name of God, slap people with His Word, see an oppertunity to help others, minister to searching hearts??
I am honestly wondering.

Are these questions a way that we see not only people confusion, but also their search for answers. I tell you I am amazed at some of the questions people ask, and the oppertunity to minister Christs love to them, in my answer.
Love this response:" I try to express the love of Christ through my answers and pray for the Holy Spirit to touch the lives of those asking the questions. Also, I expect these questions because the
bible says we will be blessed when we are persecuted for His name!"
Are you acctually thankful sometimes for these oppertunities to love?

Most of the people asking questions like you describe are pretty uninformed. It's hard to be angry or bothered by them. Like the one recently who said that God didn't create the universe but rather it was created by a meteor that ran into a star. This person apparently isn't bothered by his own inability to speculate on the origin of the meteor or the star. It's hard to get upset about someone that ignorant.

i think of for the main area it says what it says and you have understood what it says. Too many guy-made non secular concepts desire to take aspects of the Bible and cause them to say what they desire them to declare to assist their kind of theology. style of majoring interior the minors that reasons dissimilar little divisions. Sorry for the confusion. this is sweet to take all the Bible as this is, the style this is written in with some awareness of its cultural and historic place and it generally is clever as is. it rather is not any longer meant to be inaccessible or ought to flow by some important interpreting to appreciate it. What I additionally get out of it, is that Jesus became exhibiting everyone all of them mandatory mercy because of the fact all of them have been sinners. He being without sin would have thrown that stone, yet as a replace he modeled some thing extra useful, forgiveness. exciting historic observe of this tale is that the regulation to stone those caught in adultery is to stone the two. the place became they guy? Why wasn't he additionally thrown down formerly Jesus? This smells of all varieties of set-up attempting to seize Jesus. wish this facilitates

It's not too insulting until a Protestant asks a question about a supposed Catholic belief that is probably coming from their minister!

1 Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
I do not expect much of those without faith. It saddens me when 'Christians' do the insulting.

May sound flip but don't mean to be. 'Water on a duck's back' works for me. If you get annoyed or aggravated by their postings they win by default. It's what the posting was meant to do, what they're after to begin with. You can't fight back while angry, you are not seeing things clearly so your responses suffer.

i really don't care. i don't answer the ones that are here to judge. just reading makes me see how hypocritical people can be. they say we judge but yet buy asking those questions they do to us what they don't want to be done to them.
also, it's really sad how a few Christians can mess up and then the WHOLE christian faith gets ridiculed for it.
there are some people here who are truly looking for answers and then there are the others that are here to mock and show hate.
