First, You might have to get a medical waiver to join because of your wrist.
Now for the long part of my answer.

When you first want to join the Navy (or any of the other branches) you go to MEPS. This is the Military Entrance Processing Station. There you will be evaluated to see if you are fit enough to serve in the Navy. You will be given a test, the ASVAB (Armed Services Aptitude Battery). This is a test that shows what you have the aptitude for.
After receiving the score from this test, you can now choose your rate (job), but you must have the "aptitude" from the test for that rate. The Navy does not choose your rate. You do. But, you must meet the minimum ASVAB score. There also must be a billet (job opening) that is available.
As for your wrist, you will go through a complete medical exam. Here is where the medical waiver comes in. I do not know the severity of your injury so I cannot comment fully on what will happen. All I can say is that you must get a waiver.

ACC(AW/SW)
USN ret.

Any weakness due to atrophy or muscle weakness that affects the hand is disqualifying. Plus, your range of motion has to be 60 degrees in turning your wrist in each direction and at least 30 degrees in each direction while waving your hand up and down. Sounds like you fractured the navicular bone in the wrist, they put it in the wrong kind of cast, and you wound up with nerve impairment from it.

Like aqua man said it depends on the MEPS Doc...if your wrist is to weak to do pull ups or push ups you may want to re-think your enlistment. if you can they do those they may have you do a gripping test to judge if your wrist is good to go. Good luck

As long as you clear medical, you'll be fine. Just don't hide it from them.
