First of all, you can't have a visible six pack if you have lots of belly fat. Do lots of cardio - running, swimming, walking, biking, rollerblading- to burn the fat off. Muscles are always hidden behind fat if there is fat present.

Pushups are a great way to work both your core (abs) and your arms. No one can decide how many you need to do though, unless they can evaluate you. Do as many as you can everyday- with the correct form. Same goes for situps. ((Although, I have read that crunches are better than situps because when you do a situp you allow your abs to relax once you reach the top. Crunches keep your abs engaged the whole time.))

I suggest triceps dips and other calistentics that don't require equipment. Butterflies (lie on the floor on your back, raise your feet at least twelve inches in the air. Move your right leg up six inches as you move your left leg down six inches, then switch in a continuous motion) will definitely help you build up muscles in your abs. Once again- never do more than your body feel comfortable doing.

Good luck!

Here it is

20 sit ups

20 push ups holding three inches off the floor for a count of 2

20 side leg lifts each side no higher than 2:00 high

20 leg lifts with spreads 8 inches off the floor no more

20 on you stomach back arch hold for a count of 3

20 standing stoops all the way down to you ankles stay there for a count of 2

20 regulation chin up, no fast pulls, full lower extension

After each work out drink a glass of 2% milk you need the protein to make muscles

do these Once a day every day not all of them at one time but once a day all of them
