Allergic to own skin, tattoos coming out?

This boy who has been trying to talk to me whom I am not interested in keeps texting me that he went to the doctor and they took blood for testing because he is "allergic to his skin" and his "tattoos are coming out". I don't believe this AT ALL, and believe it is a wannabe pity-party, but if it is true, I would feel bad. Anyone know anything about this existing?

Yeah, he said it was from his old tattoos, which makes me suspect it is not true at all.

Yeah, he said it was from his years-old tattoos, which makes me suspect it is not true at all.

Yeah, he said it was from his several-years-old tattoos, which makes me suspect it is not true at all.

Sorry guys, tried to rephrase that whole thing and now I look like a moron with it up there three times :)

The doctors may be testing him for an allergy, but his explanation doesn't make any sense - its possible he's making it up entirely, or he actually has something but he has completely mixed up the info given to him by the doctor. People can become allergic to the pigments in their tattoos, and if so, it presents a major problem since it not easy to get the pigments out. Maybe this is what he is describing?

This sounds like a home brewed story . You can have a reaction to the ink, and it can dissipate, or it can swell up with the color your allergic to. I have had both situations. For instance I have a devil on my butt that has a pair of briefs on that is green and only his briefs swell up. I have a flag on my left shoulder and the red just doesn't stay in it it dissapears. But it is also from the type of ink they use. Because I have red M&M's with all the other colors on my private area and the color is fine. The rest of his cockermamie story is squat!
