There are several reasons that your dog might have bloody stool. Below are some of the most common reasons given by various veterinarians:
Your dog might have cancer;
Your dog might have eaten something really sharp which is cutting him/her internally;
Your dog might have internal parasites;
Your dog might have a viral infection;
Your dog might have a small intestine problem; or
Your dog might be suffering from an anal sac infection.
If your dog has bloody stool, rest assured that there are steps you can take to help your furry friend overcome this ailment.
You might want to look closely at the amount of blood because a few drops is ok;
You might want to stop feeding your dog bones;
You might want to be proactive and not allow your dog to sniff other’s poop; or
You might want to make sure that your dog is properly hydrated when you go on a hike or long walk.
If none of the above remedies work then you should consult your vet to see what exactly might be causing the problem.

Your dog is clearly ill - would you not be making a doctor's appointment for yourself if you were pooing blood?
The wrong kind of food can cause diarrhoea, but blood indicates infection, or at least inflammation. Please take her to a vet - and keep her on the same food, preferably a bland sort. By offering new foods all the time you're only encouraging diarrhoea.

Take her to the vet NOW! If you had "runny poo with blood" wouldnt you be concerned? It could be worms or something, maybe nothing even major but it could be something very serious. Being that she is so young, she can get VERY dehydrated QUICK! The second day I had my dog he did this, then he started vomiting. When I got him to the vet he was hours away from dying. They have him some IV fluids & antibiotics and he was fine. Good luck, but please dont take this lightly.

If the dog is 6 weeks, she's too young to be away from her mother. It could be stress, since she's at a new home, and she's away from her mother and littermates.
If you've had her for 6 weeks, then it could possible be worms. Take her to the vet no matter what you think it is so they can check it out. If you can, bring a sample of her stool.

That can be caused by the change of puppy food. You should change it gradually, like mixing 25% of new food with the old food, then 50%, 75% and complete change new food. You should take your young puppy to the vet to see what's going on.

Could be a number of serious things. Dehydration is a huge concern in such a young puppy. You should take her to the vet.. Severe watery diarrhea is not normal.

Sounds like parvovirus, a virus common in places where large numbers of dogs visit or live. This disease can be deadly to young puppies. Take your puppy to the vet ASAP for treatment.

The dog is 6 weeks or you've had it for 6 weeks.
Sounds like you bought a dog that has parvo. Get it to the vet!
