29000 - 7850 -6800 = 14350 of taxable income.
About $1600 in tax.
So about $400 refund plus a teeny tiny bit of EIC.

Around $300 refund from your withholding plus about $673 EIC, so just under $1000.

EIC will be about $3150, once he goes to college you can apply for Hope credit which will be about $500 dlls more.

So, as long as your income doesn't go above 35K (to quialify for EIC) you should be getting about $3600 back
