I feel that she is not Allah (SWT) nor the Prophet (SAW), who we, as Muslims, learn our religion.

I strongly disagree with her and would advise people to educate themselves properly about a subject before commenting or making 'judgements' on it.
I believe that the veil is an obligatory act of worship -it is obedience to wear it, disobedience to not wear it. And, I believe that what separates a true believer from a hypocrite is prayer.
But, I also know some Muslims that do not pray -I pray that they be forgiven and guided. I also accept that there is a difference of opinion about the face veil, and that many women just don't wear the scarf or veil even though they are very strong in other forms of worship.
However, as I understood, she stated that a woman's hijab is what the woman herself saw as fitting, so a woman can wear a short skirt, and be in hijab. And, that to wear a scarf is an act of shirk because it is 'obeying man not God'.

A good muslim and muslimah should obey to Qur'an and hadits as the life guide given by Allah the only one God.
God s[poke in the Qiur'an that muslimah should wear the veil and hijab clothes which will cover all parts of muslimah body except her face and arms..All muslims and muslimahs should pray as obligation at least 5 times a day eg. before dawn.at noon,in the afternoon,at the beginning of a night and at night..
Queen Ra who does not wear hijab and does not pray at least 5 times in 24 hours is not a good muslimah because she does not comply to the God's life guide..

You will be so confused when you see many Muslims are only muslim by names and reason is that they are so ignorant and they give more care to this life.
Yes Not wearing Hijab is a big sin in Islam and no single muslim scholar have said it is an opiton. But you should know that, not wearing it will not make the Muslim woman out of Islam because it is just like any other major sin.

To be a Muslim you have to believe La illaha illa Allah Muhamedur RasoolAllah.
Its an obligation to pray and wear hijab if you're a woman, and its a major sin not to, but in Islam people dont become non-Muslim just by doing major sins. However someone who denies praying is obligatory is a non-Muslim because they are denying the Quran
Aqida Tahawiyya
"We do not consider any of the people of our qiblah to he unbelievers because of any wrong action they have done, as long as they do not consider that action to have been lawful. "

to LordEdward:
"beaten" here means hit with nothing larger than the size of a toothbrush and it shouldn't leave a mark!
honestly, i think she is setting the wrong example b/c in the qur'an it says in two places that u must wear the hijab (veil) and it also says in hadeeth too.

Who is Queen Ra? Is she a mundane figure or an online personality?
Muslims are required to pray. Our prayers are our form of worship. See my reply at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Au83.T_npyRWeVyh1aPMsanty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071231072528AAeAcUt&show=7#profile-info-AA10643080 for an explanation of Muslim prayer. Muslims are commanded in the Qur'an by God ("Allah" in Arabic) to pray, and specific times are mentioned in it. Prophet Muhammad also taught that prayer is required in Islam, as did his successors and the scholars who guide us in the modern era. There is no excuse for dismissing prayer as a required element in Islam.
Muslim men and women are required to dress and act modestly. See my answer at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjUpsn6nBMC5X4jW_ACflDDty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071221153035AA236U4&show=7#profile-info-VfB2YZ4oaa for a more complete explanation of Islamic modesty, the hijab, and its requirement.
For the ignoramii who still believe that Islam condones woman-beating, please see my response at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ah3wavEG4mOIKAa64bKeAPjty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071210101649AAMJ2pi&show=7#profile-info-G4SwEHP5aa . And for the ignoramii who still believe that Islam teaches male superiority, see my collection at http://www.geocities.com/abaleada/A_Tribute_To_Mothers/quotesonwomen.html . It is obvious there that Islam holds women in high esteem.

ALL SHOULD PRAY
But wearing a veil is NOt what God was talking about
A womens hair is her covering......NOT a piece of cloth
and praying without Living A Truthful Life
is like spitting in the wind...
SO Please
Turn to the TRUTH
Not a mans traditions or customs
Jesus Christ HE alone is LORD
