Theres this boy i rle like, i talk to him over msn and he is in my year at school, but how can i get closer to him without seeming desperate?

well, if he's at your school you deffo dont want to come on too strong or you'll end up being the talk of the school. it's got to be like subtle hasn't it? just gradually start talking to him more i guess, make friends with his friends, talk to the lot of them on msn so he doesnt guess that you like him at first. then make your move.
can you let me know how it goes on like an e-mail or something cos its puzzled me for a bit, too.

Invite him to do something fun with you that both of you enjoy say a basketball game or a movie. Guys like to have fun and you won't seem desperate at all.

Try talking to him more in person or even over the phone. You can't establish a relationship over an instant messager.

tell him your going town or shopping, ask him to come along. rite on your screen name 'who wants to cme shopping with me' or 'who wants to watch watever film with me' if he responds then yay, ignore who ever else replies to your screen name obviously
