My kittens whiskers have been getting split ends the past 2 days. Does it just happen so they can grow new ones? or should I be concerned?

I have had my cat since he was 5 weeks old and I have never encountered any problems with his whiskers having split ends. I have noticed that he sheds whiskers sometimes though. I would go see a vet and learn more about your kitten's problem. You could also read up on some books on cat skin care to get a better understanding. Maybe he just needs a good wash. I hope that your kitten is going to be alright.

My kitty has 1 or 2 whiskers that have split ends. I have never been concerned about it. My guess is its a split end similar to our own. You could trim it, but I dont think there is really a point.

you are able to trim the guidance. I decrease my canines whiskers very virtually thoroughly off approximately each few months. They arent like cats. They wont fall approximately themselves. they're in simple terms superb. a super sort of breeders try this for his or her prepare canines.

The whiskers will take care of themselves, don't worry about it. They'll grow new ones!
